Shelter life can be very stressful for animals. Our Pet Pal program enlists the help of volunteers to provide much needed enrichment to dogs in our facility. Pet Pals will interact with dogs by playing outside, taking walks, and relaxing in our Serenity Room.
Our Cat Cuddlers provide interaction and socialization to adoptable cats in our facility. Cat Cuddlers can engage cats in play in one of our get-acquainted rooms, or relax with the cats in their kennel.
Do you have an interest in photography? Whether you are an experienced photographer or are just starting out, we are always in need of volunteers to take professional pictures of our adoptable pets. Capturing engaging photographs of our adoptable animals in a crucial part of finding them a forever home.
Foster care is an essential need to help keep shelter pets happy and healthy. Foster families save lives by opening up space for the shelter to serve more animals, providing much needed socialization to shelter animals, preventing disease transmission and helping place adoptable animals in their forever home. Foster families are provided with all supplies needed to care for the animal. Animals will return to the shelter for scheduled vaccinations, medical exams, spay/neuter, and adoption appointments.
